Sonora Sunset Designer gem 8/21/2020 01 - 54 x 29 x 5 mm - 70 carats - Here is a big beautiful cab of this classic, colorful red and blue stone. Sonora Sunrise (or Sunset) is a trade name for an eye-catching material from Sonora, Mexico. It's made up of primarily copper minerals chrysocolla and red cuprite.. When polished this material has beautiful silvery spider webs visible as it reflects the light. This cab has a beautiful dome, girdled sides and a flat beveled back all with a a lovely glossy waxy luster. One of the prettiest cabs of this material I've cut to date.
