Dead Camel Jasper designer gem 3/23/2018 01 - 55 x 19 x 5 mm - 39 carats - This is one of Philip Stephenson's beautiful new rocks he has been mining. I really like it a lot. It is a very hard porcelain jasper.. harder than most other picture jasper. It has some similar and in my opinion superior patterns and colors to "original" Owyhee jasper having it's own unique color and pattern flavor with brighter and more vivid blues. Certain to become a classic American Jasper the patterns are unique and distinctive and tend to attract a lot of attention. This lovely pendant sized cabochon is cut to a designer marquis shape with a beautifully rounded dome, girdled sides and a flat beveled back all with excellent high gloss luster.
