Lightning Ridge is historically the highest priced and most desirable opal in the world. This is a solid opal cabochon. This is a stone I cut in 2007 and I've held onto it for 11 years. It has predominately red multi color fire with a red and gold broad flash across the whole stone that is best seen in real life. The fire is better than the photos show.
