Uruguay Amethyst Crystal designer gem 2/5/2018 01 - 47 x 22 x 3.2 mm - 22 carats - I found this interesting amethyst material from Uruguay at an Oregon rock show a while back and thought I'd have a try cutting it. This stone is pretty cool if I do say so myself. It has a nicely rounded dome, girdled sides and a flat beveled back all with a beautiful glossy luster.
