Condor "River Crossing" Agate designer gem 9/14/2017 01 - 35 x 20 x 2.8 mm - 16 carats - This beautiful quartz crystal centered cabochon with pastel fortification floating in nearly clear, turtle back patterned agate is cut from high grade "River Crossing" Condor agate from Argentina. This stone also seems to have just a little of the very rare "rainbow iris" effect around the outer edge of the fortification (see the back lit photo). I find no detectable material flaws and the cut is near perfect. This distinctive and classic agate cab is cut to a beautifully rounded low domed designer tear drop, with girdled sides and a flat beveled back, all with liquid high gloss luster.
