Red Beryl 2/4 03 - 100 CARATS OF THE WORLDS MOST RARE GEM!
50 CARATS of Excellent Super Gemmy specimens hand selected for high grade facet rough - PLUS 50 MORE CARATS of UNSORTED material from the same facet grade. The second parcel is mostly not as gemmy, but there are some very good stones and potential in it as well - this is the rare of the rare. Finished stones sell for very high prices. You won't see many parcels of this material... especially this nice or this LARGE.

There are 3 pictures of each 50 carat lot. The pictures represent the parcels very well. There is a small fortune here.

The first selected 50 carat lot alone is worth $1500.00 or more wholesale.

Add the 2nd lot for a total of 100 carats and you'll realize this is an excellent price and more importantly this is a once in a lifetime chance at a parcel this big - at any price - you will not see many (or any) offerings of red beryl this large. I'm doing this because I want to raise funds quickly. Wholesale is about $30.00/carat and up for gemmy material and is usually only available in very small parcels of 1.5 to 5 carats and that's if you can find it at all.

$1550.00 SOLD  - THIS LOT IS SOLD BUT I HAVE A VERY LIMITED AMOUNT OF THE BEST OF THE HIGH GRADE FACET ROUGH AND A BUNCH OF SPECIMENS LEFT - CONTACT ME IF INTERESTED.

You are bidding on Red Beryl from the Violet Claims in the Wah Wah mountain range, Utah. This is the most rare gem in the wold. 2000 times more rare than diamond. Red Beryl was fist discovered in the Thomas Range (not the Wah-wah Range) by Maynard Bixby at the "Maynard Bixby Topaz Mine". Bixby thought it was Beryl but the color Red was unknown at the time. He sent specimens to a geochemist in the early 1900's who described it as a new variety of beryl. It was later named "Bixbite" in honor of Maynard. This name is rarely used because it is easily confused with Bixbyite (also discovered by Maynard). These crystals came from "The Violet Caims", which produces the most desirable gem quality material. Very rare and very beautiful! No collection is complete without this rare gem.

Metaphisical: Bixbite is said to enhance one's physical energy and creativity, and to stimulate awareness. It is also said to give harmony and compatibility in relationships, and to help one overcome grief and depression. Bixbite is said to help strengthen and heal the heart and lungs, and to help remedy various disorders of the digestive system.
